4 NATIONAL PARKS ON 1 GO Roadtrip not to miss for MTB lovers Duration: 10 days INTRO: Finland is a Nordic country known for great forests and pure nature. With numerous mountain bike friendly National Parks situated around the country it offers wonderful opportunities for MTB enthusiasts to explore our wilderness areas on a saddle. We explore best trails in four of them; Syöte, Hossa, Urho Kekkonen and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. We stay in log cabins, wilderness huts, camp, swim in natural waters and enjoy wood heated saunas along the route. HIGHLIGHTS: • 4 National Parks • Tailored to suit your skills • Varied terrain and best trails • Sauna and swimming in natural waters DESCRIPTION: Adrenaline and hills Days 1-2 Syöte National Park As an appetiser for our tour we ride Syöte MTB route, one of the most popular MTB events in Finland, and get a great introduction to mountain biking in Finnish forests and to Finland’s outdoor & national park culture. Day 1 Small teaser ride in Syöte Day 2 Syöte MTB route / best parts of the trail Fresh and fun Days 3-4 Hossa National Park Hossa is one of the newest national parks in Finland. Situated on the Russian border the taiga forests of east, numerous lakes and ridge formations form a compact and fun mountain biking trail system for us to explore. Day 3 Drive to Hossa (1,5h) Afternoon bike ride Day 4 Full day of riding Day 5 Drive to UK National Park (6h) Magic of Lapland, Open Fell Biking Days 6-7 UK National Park welcomes you to Lapland and arctic fell areas with great open landscapes. The magic of Lapland and endless daylight provides us with an opportunity to ride into the wilderness and sleep in a wilderness hut far away from fuzz and buzz of busy modern life. Day 8 Drive to Ylläs * The Legend Day 9-10 Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park was the first national park in Finland and a mekka for mountain bikers for wonderful year-around riding opportunities. Most trails in the park are open for bike riding. Landscapes are breathtaking at best spots and trails vary from very challenging to silky smooth and everything in between. On this section we ride some of the most classic trails in the area. *Option to fly home from Ivalo If you are short of time, you can fly home from Ivalo while the rest of us continue driving to Ylläs Daily rides are 4-8 hours. We choose the routes according your skills and fitness. We can also spice up the tours with SUP and yoga. Ask for alternatives.

Cancellation Policy

Feedback and reviews We welcome all feedback, both positive and negative as it helps us to improve our services and performance. We would greatly appreciate if you could share your tour experience with us. Please note that all complaints must reach Trail Tailor within 5 days from the completion of your tour. Otherwise, possible compensation is not valid. Trail Tailor Cancellation Policy All cancellation fees held by Trail Tailor are only intended to cover the cost of amending and/or cancelling your tour. The cancellation to be valid, it needs to reach us in written form by email or message to Trail Tailor. Cancellation fees & charges As we start to incur costs from the time the contract is confirmed we will apply cancellation charges as shown below from the time when written notification of the cancellation is received: For all bookings of day tours operated by Trail Tailor, a minimum of 72 hours notice of cancellation is required for a full refund. If cancellation is made after these time limits pass no refund is given. 10% of the price of your trip is non-refundable, this amount reflects our cost of booking and preparing your trip. Cancellation of One day or Shorter Tours More than 3 days notice – full refund, 30€ cancellation fee will be charged We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 3 days or less before the event We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event Cancellations of Multi-day Tours More than 28 days notice - 90% refund Less than 28 days notice - 50% refund Less than 48 hours notice - No refund Cancellations with more than 28 days notice before trip departure: You will be refunded 90% of the total tour price. 10% is non-refundable, as this represents our direct cost of booking and preparing your tour. Cancellations with less than 28 days notice before trip departure: You will be refunded 50% of your total tour price. 50% is non-refundable, as this represents our direct cost of canceling any arrangements made for your tour. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice before trip departure: No refund will be given if tours are canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as Trail Tailor will be charged for all costs such as guides, transport etc. 10% of the price of your trip is non-refundable, this percentage reflects our cost of booking and preparing your trip. Northern Scandinavian weather and conditions All adventure trips and outdoor activities are dependent on weather and general conditions. Trail Tailor reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, departure times and or cancel your trip without prior notice with your safety in mind, should the necessity arise. The weather changes fast on our northern lands and with it, conditions change. Our guides are specially trained to deal with changing conditions and their number one priority is to make decisions with your safety in mind. Please be aware of this and respect your guides authority to do so. This is especially valid for winter travel in Northern Scandinavia. Our summer trips, operated from June through September, are rarely adversely affected by harsh weather. But same conditions apply in case of severe weather. Trail Tailor can not be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, schedule change or other factors due to weather, strike, natural disasters or any other cause beyond Trail Tailor‘s control. Trail Tailor acts in good faith and cannot be held responsible for defaults or delays of organizations that are third parties such as individual agencies, hotels, other tour operators, airlines, guides, restaurants or any other person‘s or company‘s act. In the case of any changes to flights (domestic and international), the passenger is responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of such changes (i.e. additional hotel nights, meals, transfers, etc.), at the time provided. We, therefore, advise all customers to have comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies.
