* Suitable from beginners to advanced * Minimum height of a rider 150 cm * We tailor the route for the nicest winter trails in Ylläs and Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park according to the group's wishes and also visit one of the cozy wilderness cafes or a fire place for hot drinks and something to snack along the way * Group size: 2-6 people * Availability: from December to mid April Get the most fun in snowy Ylläs winter biking trails with an experienced mtb guide! Riding on the groomed winter biking trails in the middle of snowy forests and fells, our ancient mountains, is an experience not to miss when visiting Lapland. You can choose to ride in the morning, afternoon or during the night. Different hours have their own charm. Light with different colored sky during the day and night is one of the best phenomenas to experience in Lapland. In the morning hours we get to enjoy the sunrise colors, afternoon the sunset and during the night the dark forests lit with our headlamps - or even the moon and auroras if sky is clear and we are in luck. So pick your time of the day, send a request and the adventure is ready to start! Included: * Rental of a fatbike * Biking helmet * Hot drinks and snacks * Local guiding * Pick up from your accommodation in Ylläs You need to have: * Travel insurance that covers mountain biking * Suitable clothing for the ride according to weather Ask for available times! The ride can be done with a normal fatbike or an electric fatbike. Price with a normal fatbike 100 euros / person Price with an electric fatbike 130 euros / person

Cancellation Policy

Feedback and reviews We welcome all feedback, both positive and negative as it helps us to improve our services and performance. We would greatly appreciate if you could share your tour experience with us. Please note that all complaints must reach Trail Tailor within 5 days from the completion of your tour. Otherwise, possible compensation is not valid. Trail Tailor Cancellation Policy All cancellation fees held by Trail Tailor are only intended to cover the cost of amending and/or cancelling your tour. The cancellation to be valid, it needs to reach us in written form by email or message to Trail Tailor. Cancellation fees & charges As we start to incur costs from the time the contract is confirmed we will apply cancellation charges as shown below from the time when written notification of the cancellation is received: For all bookings of day tours operated by Trail Tailor, a minimum of 72 hours notice of cancellation is required for a full refund. If cancellation is made after these time limits pass no refund is given. 10% of the price of your trip is non-refundable, this amount reflects our cost of booking and preparing your trip. Cancellation of One day or Shorter Tours More than 3 days notice – full refund, 30€ cancellation fee will be charged We will charge a cancellation fee of 50% if booking is cancelled 3 days or less before the event We will charge a cancellation fee of 100% if booking is cancelled 1 day or less before the event Cancellations of Multi-day Tours More than 28 days notice - 90% refund Less than 28 days notice - 50% refund Less than 48 hours notice - No refund Cancellations with more than 28 days notice before trip departure: You will be refunded 90% of the total tour price. 10% is non-refundable, as this represents our direct cost of booking and preparing your tour. Cancellations with less than 28 days notice before trip departure: You will be refunded 50% of your total tour price. 50% is non-refundable, as this represents our direct cost of canceling any arrangements made for your tour. Cancellations with less than 48-hours notice before trip departure: No refund will be given if tours are canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice, as Trail Tailor will be charged for all costs such as guides, transport etc. 10% of the price of your trip is non-refundable, this percentage reflects our cost of booking and preparing your trip. Northern Scandinavian weather and conditions All adventure trips and outdoor activities are dependent on weather and general conditions. Trail Tailor reserves the right to alter routes, itineraries, departure times and or cancel your trip without prior notice with your safety in mind, should the necessity arise. The weather changes fast on our northern lands and with it, conditions change. Our guides are specially trained to deal with changing conditions and their number one priority is to make decisions with your safety in mind. Please be aware of this and respect your guides authority to do so. This is especially valid for winter travel in Northern Scandinavia. Our summer trips, operated from June through September, are rarely adversely affected by harsh weather. But same conditions apply in case of severe weather. Trail Tailor can not be held responsible for any loss, damage, accident, injury, sickness, schedule change or other factors due to weather, strike, natural disasters or any other cause beyond Trail Tailor‘s control. Trail Tailor acts in good faith and cannot be held responsible for defaults or delays of organizations that are third parties such as individual agencies, hotels, other tour operators, airlines, guides, restaurants or any other person‘s or company‘s act. In the case of any changes to flights (domestic and international), the passenger is responsible for any additional costs incurred as a result of such changes (i.e. additional hotel nights, meals, transfers, etc.), at the time provided. We, therefore, advise all customers to have comprehensive travel insurance to meet all contingencies.
